#TRUTHINLOVE

The Speaking the Truth in Love Conference is an annual event in the life of Founders Baptist Church, an idea that stems from the Apostle Paul’s exhortation in Ephesians 4:15, “Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.” Our theme for this year’s conference is “The Sufficiency of Scripture.” Globally, the church is at a crossroads. There are many trials facing Christians today, and conflicting voices attempt to remedy the problem. How will the church respond? At this conference, we will see together how the Word of God is sufficient to answer these questions. The Bible shows us that the church must respond by speaking the truth — the truth of the gospel of Christ — and that we must do it in love as Christ has commanded us.

This year, we are excited to welcome new guests to the Truth in Love conference, including noted author and speaker, D.A. Carson, who will address us in two plenary sessions on our topic, as well as Don Whitney, author of “The Spiritual Disciplines of the Christian Life.” In addition, we will also welcome returning guests, Steven Lawson, President and founder of OnePassion Ministries, Jason Allen, President of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Richard Caldwell, Pastor of Founders Baptist Church in Houston, TX, and founder of Walking in Grace Ministries.

We invite you to join us on January 26-28, 2018 to be part of this important conversation. You can register by going to www.truthinlove.org
